Des Moines Mom Inspired To Launch Her Own Business

I felt compelled to share this inspiring story with you:

After BabysInStyle.com's story appeared in the Des Moines Register, I have received a number of e-mails from moms who have been inspired to start their own business. RaChelle of West Des Moines is one of the moms. I am so excited to share her story.
She writes, "I could relate so much I'm sure like many other moms who are trying to juggle it all then contemplate staying at home but wonder can I do it? I have two daughters and one on the way! I currently nanny but I have to find something else starting in september and I really want to do something at home! I've worked in childcare for 11 years prior to nannying this last year and I don't want my baby in daycare and with my daughters school schedule Ialmost need something 9-3."
Following is an e-mail update that I received from her yesterday.

Jennifer,
I have decided to start a Nanny Agency. I will have a web site available by May 1, 2007 and it will be listed under the name Central Iowa Nannies. I have worked with families and children for 12 years and I've decided that this was my calling. I will be joining the I.N.A. and another agency to run all necessary background checks. Also, On my site I will be including a link page including local resources for famalies and nannies. I wanted to know if you'd like to be listed as well? You can never market yourself enough and the idea came to me when I saw a sight similar to yours and they were advertising for a nanny agency as well on their Home page. I'm not sure if you'd be intrested in offering my service to customers in the area but if you are let me know. If you know of anyone who would be a wonderful nanny please let me know or if you know of anyone that will soon be looking for care I will be taking pre-applications and scheduling appointments for May. And I'd be happy to discuss fees, my companies plan, and requirements for nannies. Thank you so much for inspiring me and for your help!
Thanks,
RaChelle
It is helping other moms like RaChelle to realize their dreams that has prompted me to start The Mompreneur Club. The Mompreneur Club is an online network dedicated to helping moms in business balance their family and career. My goal is to help women succeed at raising their children and building their business by providing support, resources, networking, featured mom of the month, shopping guide, advertising, and monthly newsletter. Proving once and for all that you really can have it all! The site is still under construction, but my goal is to have it completed by June 2007. If you would like to pre-register for the site - it's FREE - you may do so by sending me an e-mail at jen@babysinstyle.com. Be sure to include your name, e-mail address, and any suggestions on what you would like to see on the site!
Have a great day!
Jennifer Franklin,
